The end of cold war, disintegration of USSR and other changes raised questions about the relevance of NAM, as it is considered to be a situational movement, which had developed in the bipolar world. With the end of bipolar world the question of its relevance started surfacing. The present study analyses this question. It examines post Cold War world order through a detailed analysis of the NAM conferences since 1991, traces the shift in NAM and its relevance in the present world order.
